I’m back from India. I flew out in early November and landed home just before Christmas, six weeks later.
While I was there, in the first week of December, I left Tesla.
I’m proud of my years there. The problems were complex, like ordering cars in bulk for whole fleets, and I kept at them until the design was simple and well crafted.
It was nice to regroup with family. The festive season is my favorite time of year, and this one has been great. Now we’re home for the holidays, and “Feliz Navidad” is playing, because my son is trying to learn Spanish.
January is winter at home, with ski plans on the calendar.
Before I think about what’s next for work, I want to put the time into my health. I’m joining Bay Club in Los Gatos, getting back to working out, and cleaning up my diet.
